Certificate course on quality assurance of biopharmaceuticals: NIB & DPSRU
The National Institute of Biologicals (NIB) and Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research University (DPSRU) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote academic and exploration exercise. The two are also working towards starting a certification course on quality assurance of biopharmaceuticals.
To extend this collaboration further, NIB and DPSRU is set to start certificate course on Quality Assurance of Biopharmaceuticals. The six-month certificate course will be from current academic session 2022-23. The course is designed to snappily enhance the knowledge on biopharmaceuticals, quality control strategies and affiliated nonsupervisory compliance chops for assuring quality of biopharmaceuticals among scholars.
The MoU was inked by Dr Anup Anvikar from NIB and Dr O P Shukla, Registrar, DPSRU. Sudha V Gopinath, scientist Gr-III, from NIB Dr Anup Anvikar, director, NIB spoke on the occasion. Prof Ramesh K Goyal,vice-chancellor, DPSRU, delivered the crucial note address on challenges in quality assurance of biologicals and unborn perspective of biopharmaceuticals.
Prof Geeta Aggarwal, Dean Academics, DPSRU briefed the unborn conditioning planned under NIB-DPSRU collaboration. The event concluded with vote of thanks by Harish Chander, Scientist-I & I/ c dy. director-QC, NIB. Dr Harvinder Popli, Director, SPS, DPSRU, Dr Jaseela Majeed, Associate Professor, Dr Saurabh Dahiya, Associate Professor and elderly scientists from NIB were present.
