Workshop on Entrepreneurship and Innovation as Career Opportunity
D Y Patil University School of Pharmacy, Navi-Mumbai, Under the MoU between DYPUSOP & Flagship Biotech International Pvt. Ltd. organized a workshop “Entrepreneurship & Innovation as career opportunity” on 31st January 2023. Mr. Shailesh Patel, Director, Flagship Biotech International Pvt. Ltd. was invited as a speaker. Total 5 faculty & 100 students from third year and final year B. Pharmacy took the benefit of the workshop.
The session started with a warm welcome of the guests by our Principal Dr. Rakesh Somani and then he expressed his thoughts about the topic in brief. Then there was a brief & cheerful introduction of our speaker, by the host Ms. Chahat Bindal (LYBP). Mr. Shailesh Patel, shared his experience and knowledge about Entrepreneurship & Innovation with the students. He put a light on following points such as; how this can be good career option, how our thought process should be, what steps to be taken, where to start, importance of hardwork & honesty, innovative thinking, courage to take risks, etc. This inspired & created a sense of understanding within the students. He also explained career opportunities after B. Pharmacy. Thereafter, Q&A session was conducted in which students cleared their doubts regarding the subject. Session was concluded by Ms. Nigar Mehboob (TYBP) with the vote of thanks.
This event was organised by Ms. Fariah Rizwani and the teacher co-ordinator was Mr. Pravin Naik. This event wouldn’t be successful without the help of all the student council members. Great participation was shown by students. It was a very successful event.
